Grab your Phillips #2 screwdriver (the medium one with a ‘+’), standard lightbulb, and a ladder. Put your screwdriver and lightbulb in a cross-body bag as you scale the ladder. Open the garage door if you need light. There will only be one or two screws to unscrew. Just unscrew them enough to let the white plastic part flip down. Out with the old bulb, in with the new. Flip plastic part back up, tighten screws, safely descend. Let there be light!
Clean the area to be glued with alcohol. Cloth and water will do. Apply some Goop, wipe off any excess. I these long toothpicks for spreading all things glue. Use masking tape to hold it together while it cures, and take it off in the morning. Wear, and enjoy not hearing your shoe flap around.
Often things go down the sink. Or it gets clogged. Get a grabber and easily remove offending items without having to take the whole thing apart.
